Paag Riverside Compound – Little Silver, New Jersey

The bold geometries on this Shingle Style home take full advantage of its waterfront venue and the site’s environmental challenges. The design’s conception considered strict codes that led to a compound-style layout, which includes a freestanding garage and pool house that have been ordered to elegantly utilize the property.

Set upon what was originally an independent property, the pool house is massed to justify and compliment its location. Its highly sculptural appeal is accomplished with a two-story hexagonal body, evoking subtle reference to lighthouse tradition, yet also includes a variety of spaces including a covered outdoor dining area, a full kitchen, den, bath, and bedroom. The building additionally features a decidedly nautical interior design, materials, and furnishings.
