Paag Riverside Pool House – Little Silver, New Jersey

Set upon what was originally an independent property, the pool house is massed to justify its location and compliment the compound style residence that is associated with. As a playfully designed escape from the day to day living, the structure is reminiscent of bygone coastal architecture. Its highly sculptural appeal is accomplished with a two-story hexagonal body, evoking subtle reference to lighthouse tradition, yet also includes a variety of spaces including a covered outdoor dining area, a full kitchen, den, bath, and bedroom. The building additionally features a decidedly nautical interior design, materials, and furnishings.
